My name is Naomi Star Joseph, I'm 24 and I'm an aspiring writer. I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. I began schooling at Northern Illinois University and continued my education at Harper College to get my associates in the arts. I have plans to pursue my BA, MA, and PhD in English/Creative Writing but currently the funding in not available. At times I get discouraged that I can't afford it while my friends have already received their degrees, but I remind myself that it doesn't matter how long it takes to accomplish something, the time will pass anyways so I might as well keep working towards it. In the mean time, I am working on a book, Displaced, and keeping my writing skills sharp.
I enjoy health and fitness related activities, as well as blogging about them on Be Sore, Not Sorry, and I am a proud member of TIU.
